St. Louis is a pretty cool place. There are some cool bridges, and sights. We were listening to the GPS, but then we got confused, and it was great fun. Finally we just found a parking lot, and parked. We followed these signs to the courthouse to buy tickets to go in the arch. Of course, on the way, we stopped at the souvenir shops and got some stuff. Then we got to the arch. I loved the arch. We went to the visitor center, and then we went up the arch. It took about 3 minutes or so to get up there. In order to get up there, you had to sit in this egg shaped thing that were super small. Then we got up there, it was awesome! We got there at sunset, and there was a Cardinals game, and it looked soooo cool. I tried to call my mom, but she didn't answer. Her loss. Haha. Then we went back down, and it only took 2 minutes. Haha, random facts that we got told. After that, we looked around, and then left. By the time we got down, it was dark, and you could see the full moon behind the arch. Best photo opt. Hahahaha. We went to our hotel, which was half and hour away from St. Louis. It was the cheapest hotel I could find. It was actually an awesome hotel. While we were driving out to it, we saw the St. Louis Temple! We forgot there was a temple there.
We spent the night at the Wildwood Hotel, and it was soo great. But again, it could have been that we were so tired, and needed to sleep. But whatever it was, it was nice. In the morning we ate breakfast, and then headed over to the temple. We were pretty lucky that the temple was open, and we got to do baptism. Then we headed off to our next adventure. Which was Kansas City. We stopped by Liberty Jail, and the Kansas City Temple. Which was closed. We were a little bummed about that. But Liberty Jail was open, and we got to go see it. Then we stopped by Shakes and Steaks, which was delicious. Then we continued on our way to Denver. We were going to camp somewhere in Kansas, but the KOA was all full. We ended up staying at a Econo Lodge. Which was semi sketchy. Haha. Jacquelyn didn't think it was sketchy. Haha. Then we were off again to Denver.
